From Dream to Reality: The Inspiration Behind Duox
Gustavo and Alice met in college, where the idea of transforming the accounting universe was already brewing. Graduated in 2014 (Alice) and 2015 (Gustavo), respectively, they followed paths that led them to work in offices and dive into the tax area – with Gustavo still working for a time in auditing.
During these years, the conversation about innovating in accounting never stopped. Even in different corporate environments, the idea of establishing their own office remained alive and pulsating between the two friends.
In 2019, driven by experience and mutual trust, they stepped out of their comfort zone and opened the office together, starting with just one client but with a huge vision. Believe it: even starting humbly, the potential was there.
Success came quickly; by 2020, they were already serving over 20 clients, and even during the challenges of remote work imposed by the pandemic, Duox continued to grow.
With the resumption of in-person services in 2022 in Agronômica, they reaffirmed the importance of direct contact with clients. By the end of 2023, this growth allowed for a move to a larger room, symbolizing the consolidation and continuous advancement of Duox.
